E load National Sponsor for PEI Bike Challenge
Organizers of the 254 km August 13, 2005, PEI Biking for Breakfast Challenge announced today that E load has become their official sports drink sponsor for the Event.
"This is a major boost," says Ken Trenholm, Chair of the Event Committee. "Providing sponsored e load refueling for an endurance event enables riders to focus on their ride instead of their hunger."
Trenholm explains that working with the team at e load has been a wonderful experience. "They wanted to be involved in this event from day one." Trenholm adds, "we continue to have a lot of positive feedback from potential sponsors regarding the Event and now we have a sponsor proven to deliver on product and on performance."
E load also sponsors many other athletic events such as the HSBC Triathlon Series, marathon events, soccer, rugby, basebal, Canada's top beach volleyball athletes, and the Ontario Junior Women's Basketball Team. Now PEI's one day 254 km cycling challenge is added to their support of Canadian athletes and events.
This event is the largest one day cycling event in the Maritimes this year. The event is also aiming to offer $25 gift certificates for every $100 raised in pledges. A listing of all businesses donating gift certificates will be included in their coloured event program. Interested businesses are encouraged to contact Trenholm at ken@therapeuticchild.ca or 888-3878 before the program goes to print. Rider and Volunteer pledge forms and additional information can be found at www.cycisle.therapeuticchild.ca.
