Redden Wins Mammoth!
We just walked in the door from the airport (I flew back in from the Road Nationals today - ed.), and received a message from Chrissy Redden (Ritchey), letting us know that she had won the Norba National cross-country race today in Mammoth, California. No details yet (we will be talking to Chrissy later tonight), but Chrissy won by nearly 2 minutes. Tammy Jacques (Toyota/Schwinn) was second, Ruthie Matthes (Powerbar) third, Rene Marshman 4th and Lesley Tomlinson (Polo Sport) 5th. If we remember correctly, this is the first ever Canadian win at Mammoth (Jill Smith took 3rd there at a World Cup in either `92 or `93 - ed.).
