Report from Road Nationals ITT
(courtesy H. Houle)
Just got off the phone with Eric Wohlberg. He has won the ITT for the third year in a row. His official time is 48:58:54 for 40K. Although he claims it was a little short.
Racing conditions were far from ideal. It was 14 and raining. The roads were muddy and some of the corners had not been swept. Marshalling was also poor. He had to stop twice for vehicles. To top it all off he finished his ride with a flat. How's that for beating the odds.
It looks like the winner is an automatic selection for CommonwealthGames.
Official times for top three senior men
Eric Wohlberg. 48:58:54
Brian Walton 49:31:84
Jacques Landry 50:26:20
(we are working on getting the rest of the results soon -ed)
