We are now under two weeks to go to the 6th Annual Tim Horton's Great Lake to Lake Mountain Bike Classic.
Held on June 20th at 11 a.m on the shores of Lake Erie, approximately 1500 mountain bikers will rage acoss the beautiful Niagara landscape to the shores of Lake Ontario, in six different waves.
This citizen's race is a classic 50km route with challenging singletrack and doubletrack, almost 95% off-road. One of the best post race parties on the beach at Port Dalhousie, full catered meal and patio presentation of awards.
New this year is the inaugural Great Lake to Lake North on August 15th. A 35 km route from Bass Lake near Orillia to the Height of Horseshoe ski chalet. Truly some of the best single-track in the province, this race is sure to please..

Calling All Cyclists! The Lung Association's Annual Bike Trek
Pick your TREK and get ready for a fabulous cycling adventure.
The Lung Association, Halton Region invites you to attend its 5th Bike TREK. On Sunday September 19, you can ride the day away, have a great time and give back to the community. The ride departs from Coronation Park in Oakville and takes the TREKKER through the scenic back roads throughout the beautiful Halton area. This non competitive event includes a 20, 60, or 100 km route. The 100 km route departs at 8:30 a.m., 60 km departs at 9 a.m. and lastly the 20 km leaves at 10 a.m. Pre register today.
Funds raised from this exhilarating event go to The Lung Association‚s "Lungs Are For Life" Program. This program educates youth on smoking and drug prevention and how to maintain healthy lungs. Lungs Are For Life is offered free to schools for students in kindergarten to highschool because of your support.
The Lung Association is asking all participants to encourage their family, friends or colleagues to participate and raise a minimum of $100 in pledges for those living with lung disease.
