Final Olympic Start Spots Announced
At the conclusion of the Track Worlds, the final allocation of starting spots was announced for the Olympics. Canada will get 2 track spots, both based on Lori-Ann Muenzer's performance at the Worlds. There will be 1 spot for the women's sprint, and 1 for the women's 500m Time Trial. Mandy Poitras won silver in the Scratch Race, but that is not an Olympic event. This means that the total spots open to Canada are:
Road Race

Women - 3
Time Trial
Men - 0
Women - 2
Track
Women Sprint - 1
Women 500M TT - 1
Mountain Bike

Lori-Ann Muenzer has now met the Schedule C qualification for the Canadian
