Murray Carter (MB) will replace Cam Evans in U-23 World Championship Road Race this Friday in Hamilton. Carter and his family were enroute to Hamilton when they heard the word. Luckily Murray had brought his bike along!
CC Editor, Rob Jones stopped by the CBC trailer and base of operations this morning before the start of today's races. IMPRESSIVE! is the most operative description. 100 TV monitors, a staff of 150 and a 6 figure budget. The Belgian team stopped by yesterday on a quick tour and they commented that is is the most ambitious venture to cover World's that they had ever seen. Kudo's to CBC.
Condolences to Tim and Lister Farrar on the passing of their mother. The Farrar family has a long history of involvement in cycling in Ontario.
