Cam Evans Forced to Withdraw from Worlds

Canadian Cameron Evans has been forced to withdraw from the U-23 World Championship Road Race this Friday in Hamilton. Cameron returned from seven weeks of racing in France with the National Team early last week and was very fatigued with an intestinal disorder.
After undergoing testing it was discovered Cameron had picked up two intestinal parasites and is currently on anti-biotics to get rid of them. He was advised not to compete by his doctors.
Cameron is exceptionally disappointed to have to withdraw as his form was very good with several top ten placings in Elite 2 races and as well at missing the opportunity to race on Canadian soil in such a prestigious event.
