2003 Tour de France

The route for the 2003 Tour de France has been announced. Totalling 3402.5 kilometers, it travels in a clockwise direction, so the Alps will be the first mountains encountered. 2003 will be the centenary (100th anniversary) edition of the Tour, and the organization has attempted to duplicate the original route, including the six cities used in the first Tour: Paris, Lyon, Marseilles, Toulouse, Bordeaux, and Nantes - although it will take more then the six original stages to complete!

Women Warriors on CBC

(Montreal, Quebec) --- Award-winning production house DIVERSUS is proud to announce the CBC airing of Women Warriors - a new television series which reveals the ferocious spirit and life-long sacrifice it takes to be a champion. This unique ten part series profiles one remarkable Canadian athlete each week and is scheduled to air on CBC every Saturday at 12:30 pm (ET) from November 2 - January 4, 2003. The series will also appear on WTSN - the new digital women's sports network and CFCF 12 Montreal.

Unlike conventional sports profiles, Women Warriors seeks to uncover the woman behind the athletic powerhouse. Through interviews with team-mates, friends, family and in-depth interviews with the athletes, each half hour episode embraces the accomplishments, struggles and choices which make up the world of today's elite Olympian.

Women Warriors will run on Saturdays, from 12:30-13:00PM, on the following dates:

Congratulations to Lyne Bessette, who quietly became engaged to long-time partner Tim Johnson shortly before the Commonwealth Games this past summer.
