Pheonix Velo - Mission, B.C.

Week 4
The Mission Raceway park was a hive of activity last night as the drag racers arrived from near and far for the annual NHRA points race. Mixed in with the trailers loaded with expensive fast vehicles were the expensive, fast bikes of the Pheonix Velo mob. Maybe the presence of all that horsepower inspired Ricky Federau (Gears Racing) or he is just on ripping form, but he nonetheless easily disposed of all in his A group then blew through the handicap groups for a convincing win. Sandra Walters (Speed Queens) brought home the remenants of the B group for second place followed by Jeff Bandura(Flash 5) and the CDS duo of Blake Chersinoff and Casey Bruinink.

Events Added:
Thursday May 9th will be the first Frog Hill Time Trial,a punishing ascent of Stave Lake Road locally known as Frog Hill.
May 28 Nicomen Island Time Trial - 19 km flat TT on quiet country roads
June 25 Second Frog Hill TT
July25 Second Nicomen Island ITT
