Toronto Paris-Roubaix
The 16th annual Toronto's Paris-Roubaix Challenge will take place on Sunday, April 14th. This year, promoter Mike Barry has enlisted the Midweek Cycling Club to organize the event.
The tour starts at the Toronto Zoo and follows a tough 66 km course consisting of some pavement, a number of gravel roads and some really brutal off-road sections. One of these is called the "Hell of the North", a 12 km stretch of muddy trail between Mount Albert and Sutton, where the event finishes.
Entry fee is $25 for members of OCA affiliated clubs and $30 for independent riders. To enter, use the entry form on the Midweek Club website - www.midweekclub and mail to the Midweek CC at 1249 Woodhill Crt., Mississauga ON L5E 3H1. For further information, contact pakamac@sympatico.ca or phone 905-271-8300.
