The 20th anniversary of the Tour de Bowness (Calgary AB) is coming this August 5th to 7th.
A three stage omnium race consisting of a road race, hill climb and criterium, the Tour de Bowness is the biggest amateur cycling race in Alberta. The event is open to all categories of racers, including citizen class and youth, with over $20,000 is cash and prizes available.
The final day criterium is run alongside a street festival and features a kids race. The TdB has the honour of being the Alberta Road Provincial Championship and the overall winners get their names engraved on the Sibthorpe Cup as well as a custom jersey.
