May 10/23 9:34 am - Horseshoe Resort Launches Registration for Crankworx Summer Series Event (Ontario)

Horseshoe Resort has announced that registration for the Crankworx Summer Series Canada event is now open. As the first (and only Ontario stop) of the series, Horseshoe Resort will host three days of exciting freestyle mountain biking action on July 6-8, 2023.

Crankworx Summer Series Canada at Horseshoe Bike Park will feature internationally renowned Crankworx-calibre racing, including dual slalom, air DH, and slopestyle events. The slopestyle competitions will be FMB (Freeride Mountain Bike) Bronze-Level Slopestyle events for both women and men, providing a stepping stone for the sport and paving the way for more women to compete and excel at the highest level of the sport. The course will be designed by Brayden Barret-Hay, who is an Ontario pro freestyle mountain bike rider who currently resides in Vancouver.

There is a large prize purse available for the Open Men and Open Women categories at the Horseshoe events, and in addition, Crankworx Summer Series Canada will award the top three Series Overall Leaders for Women and Men. Winners of certain events and categories will also be awarded a reserved entry spot to Crankworx Whistler 2024.
