Week 2 of the Canada Summer Games includes the Road cycling events, and opened on Tuesday with the Individual Time Trial for women and men. Held in and around the town of Wainfleet, the course was completely flat, heading out west, with three left turns to complete a loop. The women then turned right to head back the finish for a total of 13.4 kilometres, while the men turned left to complete another loop before heading the to finish, for a total of 21.9 kilometres. Rain fell before the start of the women's race, and it remained very humid for the rest of the competition, although no rain fell.

Marien Lawson (Alberta), starting third, set a fast time that would last through almost the entire field, eventually putting her in second place, 4.16 seconds behind winner Lucy Sky Hempstead (Ontario), with a time of 18:49.57. The final starter, Camille Primeau (Quebec) took third, 22.46 seconds off the lead.

Philippe Jacob (Quebec), starting three-quarters of the way through the field, was the first to set a sub-28 minute time, and it would be good enough for third. The second to last starter, Evan Russell (British Columbia), knocked a further 14 seconds off the leading time, but the final starter, Tristan Jussaume (Quebec) blew away that time with the only sub-27 minute result, over 49 seconds faster at 26:35.48 to take the title.
