CCA Hires H.P. Coordinator

(Ottawa, ON) - The Canadian Cycling Association is pleased to announce that Sean O'Donnell has been hired as the new High Performance Coordinator. Sean takes over from Kris Westwood, who left the CCA to pursue a career in journalism.
With an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Sport Administration, Sean brings to the CCA several years experience in the sport field including managing the logistics and operations of the Notre Dame College hockey program. Sean also worked as the marketing assistant for the Regina Pats Hockey Club in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Sean will be a very strong addition to the CCA, and will be responsible for aspects of the National Team. He officially began his duties as of April 24, and we look forward to working with him.

(Ottawa, ON) - L'Association cycliste canadienne a le plaisir d'annoncer que Sean O'Donnell a été embauché comme le nouveau Coordonnateur des programmes de haute performance. Sean remplace Kris Westwood, qui a quitté l'ACC pour poursuivre une carrière dans le journalisme.
Avec un diplôme en Commerce et l'Administration Sportive, Sean apporte à l'ACC l'expérience de plusieurs années dans le domaine du sport incluant la gestion de la logistique et les opérations du programme de hockey du Collège de Notre Dame. Sean a aussi travaillé comme assistant en marketing du Club de Hockey des Regina Pats à Regina, Saskatchewan.
L'arrivée de Sean à l'ACC aura un impact très positif. Sean sera responsable de tous les aspects organisationnels reliés à l'Équipe Nationale. Il a officiellement commencé ses fonctions le 24 avril et nous attendons avec impatience de travailler avec lui.
Canada Games Age Eligibility

This weekend marks the first race for Ontario riders wishing to be selected to the Canada Games team. There has been some confusion over the age limit for the Games. The following information is taken from the Technical Package and is correct:
Male cyclists must be under 20 years of age and at least 16 years of age as of December 31, 2000. Female cyclists must be under 22 years of age and at least 16 years of age as of December 31, 2000.
