Three Women's Skill Camps will be held this year in three different towns: Kelowna, Victoria, and Rossland. Each will run for two full days, Saturday and Sunday.
Expect to learn all the cycling essentials, from proper braking and shifting techniques, to front wheel lifts and clearing obstacles, cleanly. Expect also to get first rate information on bike maintenance, resource stewardship, and general trail preparedness ... and of course to have great amounts of fun. Anyone from a rider with a minimum of off-road experience to a seasoned veteran is welcome to attend.
Elladee Brown, Daamiann Skelton, Penny Deck, Candace Shadley, Cindy Devine, and Linda Robichaud are set to instruct the camps.
The cost per camp, including lunch both days, is just $80. Participation is limited to 30 per camp, so if you are interested, please register soon. Contact Cycling BC: 604-737-3034 or
