Racing is happening at Forest City Velodrome again this winter. We have a full calendar of events for both Youth and adult racers. This year, we have added a Youth Series running in the afternoon, typically starting at 2:00 pm. Our normal race nights generally follow Youth racing in the afternoon, but we also have added afternoon racing events.
We would like to invite our friends from the Bloomer Park racing community to come check out our race calendar. New this year: Your USAC domestic racing license is all you need to race. There is no need to upgrade to a UCI license to race at the FCV. This applies to youth and regular events.
We have set our calendar up so riders from out of town, we hope, can make it out, and get home on the same day.
The first Youth event is on Saturday, November 5th at 2:30 pm and the first regular race event is our Mary Kelly 100 on Sunday, November 20th at 3:00 pm. The Mary Kelly event features a 100 lap Women's only race to finish the race afternoon. Podiums and prizes on tap.
