In order to add to the excitement of the mountain bike Provincial Championships and to generate interest for the 2015 season, Team Hardwood-Trek is excited to make several announcements.
First, we are pleased to announce that Steve Neal will be joining the coaching staff of our Silver program (Minime Aged Athletes) for the 2015 season. We are extremely fortunate that one of Canada's leading cycling coaches will be introducing a "grass roots" version of his world class knowledge and training ideas to our athletes.
We would also like to announce that Jon Barnes, former Team Hardwood-Trek athlete and current Trek Canada mountain bike team member, will be joining the coaching staff for our Bronze Race program (Squirt and Pee Wee O-Cup Racers).
We encourage everyone to drop by the Team Hardwood-Trek team tent area at Provincials, where you will be able to get an exclusive look at all of our programs for 2015; including the unveiling of details on our Coach Peter Glassford's program for Cadet and Junior Expert Racers, designed for athletes looking to perform at the National level.
Team Hardwood-Trek is one of Canada's largest, longest running, and most successful mountain bike development programs. As a true Active for Life program, our NCCP certified coaches work in partnership with our families to not only develop good athletes, but great citizens too! Our motto is Riding is Fun, Racing is Fun, Friends are for Life.
