Former road pro Andrew Randell, has announced that he has left his role as manager of the Jet Fuel team to working full time in coaching. He sent the following statement:
I wanted to let you know that as of May 1st, I stepped down from my role as manager of the Jet Fuel Cycling Team. Working with the team was something I always knew I would do when I finished my racing career and I am grateful to John and Heidi for having given me the opportunity to do so. I leave the team's management in good hands with John and Heidi, who have been supporting the development of Canada's top young cyclists for 20 years. In that role of support I will continue racing with the team.
The two and a half years managing the team and helping it grow was exciting and challenging. Now it is time for me to change my work focus. I will be working on growing my coaching business from which I also get a great deal of pleasure.
With this change in focus comes an exciting collaboration with Steve Neal of Steve Neal Performance and Kevin Jardine of the Urban Athlete. Working together we will bring a new perspective to training for endurance athletes and create enhanced possibilities for our clients.
I wish the team all the best and hope to see many of you sometime soon.
Andrew Randell
