The RCS Sport Wild Card Cycling Commission meeting has just concluded. The Commitee, comprising of Giacomo Catano, RCS Sport CEO; Michele Acquarone, RCS Sport general manager; Mauro Vegni, cycling technical director; Marco Gobbi Pansana, marketing manager and Pier Bergonzi, representing La Gazzetta dello Sport, has confirmed which teams are invited to the 2013 World Tour races organised by RCS Sport.
In order to respect the teams, athletes, media and crucially, the fans, RCS Sport have made the decision to allocate the Wild Card places today, despite the current uncertainty regarding World Tour licences.
