Level 1 Mountain Bike Commissaire Course - Ontario

The OCA will be conducting a Mountain Bike Commissaire Course in Spring 2000. This will be a two-part course consisting of classrom instruction and a practical session at a sanctioned MTB race. The classroom instruction takes place Saturday May 13, 2000 from 10h00 to 16h00 at the OCA office at the Sport Alliance of Ontario building in Toronto. The practical session will take place at the Canada Cup MTB Race at Hardwood Hills on May 28, 2000 where students will be assigned commissaire duties. Upon completion of this course, you will be entitled to apply for a MTB Provincial C commissaire licence and will be eligible to be assigned to OCA-sanctioned MTB events in Ontario. All registrants receive a free copy of the 2000 CCA Cycling Rule Book. Please contact Dave Spurgeon via e-mail at louiseweavers@home.com for more information and to register for the course. Fee is $50.00. Course instructor is Fred Seemann. Space may be limited, so apply early.
