BMC Software Crit - Austin, Texas
We just received word from Team Elita manager David Cathcart that Canadians fared extremely well at this big money criterium. Saturn's Nicole Reinhart won the race, followed by team mate (and Canadian) Clara Hughes. Elita's Karen Dunne and Annie Gariepy (Elita) took third and fourth respectively. Dunne was initially awarded second, before a review of the photo finish put Hughes ahead of her.
From here, Elita will send a team of 5 to the Tour of Willamette - Erin Carter, Annie Gariepy, Sophie St Jacques, Cybil DiGuistini and Sara Ulmer. David also wanted us to let Erin know tomorrow morning, before she starts the Paris-Ancaster, how her team mates did...
