Our bike club, the WestofQuebec Wheelers, supports a variety
of projects and initiatives. This year we are assembling a collection of women riders from around the world and entering a team in the Gatineau Grand Prix, Canada's UCI international Olympic Qualifying race. Our team includes two women from Ireland, one from Guam, one from Cuba, an American and, if all goes well with her Visa, we are bringing a woman from Kenya for two weeks of racing. Efforts like this are part of our "Echelon Project".
To raise support we are selling limited edition Wheeler/EchelonProject jerseys. They are $100, with all proceeds supporting these sorts of efforts. There will only be 50 of these limited editions, and you can order one guarantee your sizing - as the order is placed on Monday. Without a pre-order, you run the risk of us not having your size.
Boys, I was told recently that it takes a special man to wear pink, so you don't have to just get one for the special women in your life.
