2012 Update: So far 746 bikes have been built for kids in Ghana.
In 2011 the Bicycle Factory was able to send bikes to 206 Ghanaian communities and for 2012 look forward to helping more. The Bicycle Factory is now open for 2012 – with an all-new, super simple way to participate (no more UPCs to collect...!).
Check out at TheBicycleFactory.ca. for more info on what they're all about: "While bikes are great for the environment and health, in Ghana they mean much more, and The Bicycle Factory sends 5,000 bikes to Ghana to help kids access critical services like school, medical care and other vital life needs."
For 2012 The Bicycle Factory is giving participants a chance to win a life changing trip to Ghana to help deliver the bikes, as well as some cool instant-win prizes that also net a teacher in Ghana a bike!
