April 17/12 9:52 am - First Eco-Race Next Weekend - Ontario

The first eco-race of the year kicks off April 22nd at Durham Forest. Designed to be economical ($25 per person pre-registered for any distance) and ecological (less equipment, less plastic, less waste and the whole event fits in a Subaru), this simple, fun, family-friendly event is a great place to finalize bike set-up and warm up the legs before the main season kicks off.

There is an event for everyone: 5k, 10k, 20k, 30k and 40k, plus kids’ races and the kids’ course is open all day. There will also be a bunny hop contest going throughout the day.

The 10k and 5k course are a little more mellow with regards to climbing and technical challenge. Perfect for the newbie. The 20k, 30k and 40k will have more hills and more challenging single track. The course was designed to mimic the O-Cup courses, with lots of in-and-out of single track, so there are no bottle necks.

$500 worth in draw prizes to be won.

And don’t forget the SPI weather guarantee. We promise there will be weather on 100% of the course or your money back!

More than 50 people have already registered to save over day-of pricing! Register today to save.
