Full-Time Communications Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
The Communications Marketing Manager reports to the VP of Sales and a member of the Marketing Division who works closely with the P/R Marketing Manager in strategic plans and reporting. Additionally, this individual manages the Creative Services Team (design, marketing, writer, and web) and Production Team (publishing, photography, and translation). This includes leading the teams to meet their goals of facilitating the company’s communication objectives with relevance and professionalism.
• Work together with management teams to implement and execute on corporate strategies and policies
• Manage the department teams by supervising their work planning and allocation of time; approve communications plans for projects; and evaluate performance of the team
• Project allocation and scheduling of proprietary, corporate, and distributed brand projects
• Responsible for management, recruitment, retention, and evaluation of staff
• Direct involvement in development, reporting, and adhering to the annual department budget
• Source and manage outside vendors (print / media) that meet the objectives for quality, sustainability, delivery, and budget
• Oversees systems for the integration of communications planning and support across all brands
Applicant Should Possess:
About You:
You are an excellent communicator, with strong management and media/marketing skills, and a proven track record of building motivated and productive teams. Your undergraduate or graduate degree is in marketing or communicationsrelated discipline and you have a minimum of five years experience leading communications or marketing teams. You are well organized and a brilliant multi-tasker, like a server during a Saturday-night dinner rush. You lead an active lifestyle and possibly love your bike more than your partner (don’t worry, we won’t tell). You have a diverse portfolio of experience that demonstrates your ability to lead the successful evolution of brand strategies and a qualified eye for design. Proven experience with the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset. Overall you are a great team player who thrives in a busy, changing, information-rich environment

Temporary Full-Time Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities:
Your role is a balance of production, creative collaboration, and liaising with multiple departments to ensure the best results are achieved. You will support the Senior Designer in seeing that all projects you touch are completed on schedule, organized, and with creative flair that is in alignment with Norco’s goals. Projects will include assistance with: printed sales material such as dealer catalogues and consumer brochures; print and web support; point of sale material; project administration tasks.
Applicant Should Possess:
You are a person with a multi-faceted skill set who:
• is pro in Adobe CS 5 print and web programs, yet comfortable with a traditional pen & pencil;
• works in an organized and methodical fashion;
• loves to ride, board, ski, run or walk in our great outdoors;
• possesses confident written and verbal communication skills
• possesses a broad design portfolio with examples of integration with marketing strategies
• researches the latest design & web industry trends, but equally has an instinct to create them;
• voices your constructive opinions, yet always works as a team;
• is aware of your strengths and areas of weakness, always looking to improve.
