The Canadian Cycling Association is pleased to announce a special Cadet/Junior Track Talent ID Development Camp at the ForestCity Velodrome in London, Ontario. Eligible track riders will be 15 - 17 years old and have the ability to ride in a pace line and handle other group riding skills to participate in the camp. The three days of Velodrome sessions will be led by Junior National Track Coach Rob Good. Richard Wooles, CCA National Track Head Coach will also be in attendance on the Sunday to observe the athletes and identify new talent.
This is a self funded camp. Riders are responsible for over night accommodations and meals in London. You will incur a $40.00 track fee to the FCV, which will cover you for the weekend.
Schedule:
Friday Night November 25th, 6:30pm - 9pm.
Saturday November 26th, 1:30pm - 3:30pm.
Saturday Night Racing, 7pm. CanAmQue Challenge
Sunday November 27th, 8:30am - 11am
This is a CCA skills development camp, where the emphasis will be on improving track technique and bike handling skills.
This camp is the third in a series of development projects to better prepare our Juniors for International track competitions in 2012.
