The UCI has released the list of ProTeam and Pro Continental teams that it has confirmed meet their criteria for a 2012 licence. These teams have been registered by the UCI for next season. There are eight ProTeams and 15 Pro Continental teams that have thus far met the criteria, including Canada's SpiderTech powered by C10. In the ProTeam list there are only the teams that are just renewing their licence; all new teams - including the new combined squads, such as Quick Step with Omega Pharma and RadioShack with Trek Leopard - are still completing the investigation process.
