Silent Auction
We have added a number of items to the fund raising auction to support the PacificSport National Cycling Centre (enter by clicking the graphic at the upper left hand corner of your browser window). In addition to a number of autographed jerseys, Steve Bauer has donated some cycle tours through his tour company and Cycles Marinoni some cycling shorts. The final auction items will go up today: a 5 member team entry to the Kokanee 24 Hours of Adrenalin (courtesy Trilife), Avro downhill rims, ski gloves from Paris Sport, nutritional supplements (Basic Nutrition) and a BLT light system from Norco. You only have until November 30th to bid, so don't wait too long.
Canadian Cyclist Awards
Well, the addition of Peter Wedge certainly livened up the men's voting! After 24 hours, Wedge is now tied with Gord Fraser in the Male category. In the Female category, Genevieve Jeanson continues to lead Alison Sydor by a small margin as we enter the last week of voting. Jeanson's lead in the Individual Performance voting continues to dominate this category - it will take an enormous upset to change this result.
Canadian 'Cross in Japan
We just received word that Canadian Paul Chetwynd won a cyclo-cross race in Japan earlier in the month.
