April 9/11 11:11 am - Bicycle Factory Needs Your Help to Build Bikes for Ghana

The Bicycle Factory will open for 2011 on April 18th and, once again, build bicycles to send to students in Ghana. Last year, the Bicycle Factory was proud to deliver 4,032 bicycles to Ghana. This year, to help kickstart the building, they are running a Likes for Bikes campaign from April 4th to 17th as a warm-up to the main bicycle building period. Everyone who "likes" the Facebook page gets to contribute a bike part!

A quick reminder about The Bicycle Factory - they give Canadians the opportunity to help send up to 5,000 bikes to Ghana simply by entering bar codes off participating Cadbury Products. That means up to 5,000 students increase their access to education and do much more that we in the western world take for granted. You can find all the details at thebicyclefactory.ca.
