Pacific Cycling Centre's Spring Pre-Season Training Camp will run on March 14-19 in Victoria, BC. Open to cyclists and multi-sport athletes of all abilities, the camp is a unique opportunity to fine tune racing techniques and skills, and train and work with an Olympic coach and Olympic athletes, prior to the 2011 season. Limited entries will be accepted for this camp.
The six-day camp will focus on aerobic power and endurance capacity development with emphasis on climbing, pace line and sprinting techniques. At an indoor gym session core stability/endurance, flexibility and balance will be evaluated.
The Camp includes:
• Daily training sessions with Pacific Cycling Centre head coach and other coaches
• Presentation on training with power, and recovery based training; athletes will learn how to manage fatigue and recovery from training and competition, question/answer session with PCC Head coach.
• Complete ride support with nutrition and hydration products
• Full mechanical support
• Two dinners
During this camp each cyclist will be observed by the head coach, who will give feedback and assist their 2011 training plans. (Developing an individual program is not part of this camp).
