The Liquigas-Cannondale Pro-Cycling team is proud to announce today that Sugoi Performance Apparel, part of the Apparel Footwear Group division of Dorel Industries (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), will be the team's 2011 technical apparel sponsor. The team today unveiled the newly designed kit for the 2011 season. (Note: Dorel also owns the team's co-sponsor and bike supplier Cannondale)

This marks the first time that Sugoi will provide apparel for an international professional cycling team, highlighting the brand's continued commitment to offering the highest level of performance products for cyclists. This is the logical next step for Sugoi's continued investment in pro-cycling, following the company's recent move into a new location that features a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for custom cycling apparel.

Sugoi will provide a complete range of technical performance apparel, from jerseys to bib shorts, vests, arm warmers, gloves and caps. Designed in close consultation with the Liquigas-Cannondale Pro-Cycling team, the new kit features the latest in Sugoi's technically advanced apparel solutions. Important changes made to the 2011 kit include the following:

• New team graphics and design with fully sublimated arm, leg, and knee warmers, for a clean overall appearance;
• RC Pro Chamois, with V-notch for ventilation and flexibility, advanced ergonomically correct articulation, and 4-way stretch side panels to mold to the body's contours; and,
• Ultra high-tech skin suits designed to help riders shed valuable seconds during time trial.

The consumer version of the kit, named The Liquigas-Cannondale Powered by Sugoi Kit, will be available to consumers both as an authentic kit and as replicas in black. It will be available April 1, 2011 in stores that carry Sugoi or Cannondale, as well as online at sugoi.com.
