The Canadian Sport Centre Ontario (CSCO), in collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport (MHPS), are proud to announce the opening of the newly developed CSCO High Performance Strength and Conditioning facility, located at the City of Toronto Track and Field Centre.

The 600-square foot facility was designed specifically for the dedicated use of Ontario's high performance athletes, with the intention of creating a world class daily training environment that will enable athletes to work one-on-one or in small groups with dedicated sport science and medicine experts. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment, and athletes will also have access to modern rest and recovery techniques.

This facility marks the continued commitment and support from both the CSCO and MHPS in providing world class training environments and cutting edge sport science and sport medicine services to Ontario's high performance athletes. The goal is to ensure that Ontario's identified athletes have priority access to high performance training environments that will enable success on the international stage.

"We hope this is the first of many such facilities across the province (CSCO has recently established a similar strength & conditioning centre in Ottawa for the athletics national relay team) that CSCO will create in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport" said CSCO President & CEO Debbie Low.
