After 3 days of rain the sun has appeared and it is a beautiful sunny day. It will still be very wet and muddy in the woods

Start lap 1/2 way e and it is Nathalie Schneitter (Bikepark.Ch Scott) leading Eva Lechner (Colnago Arreghini Sudtirol) and Willow Koerber (Subaru-Trek). Catharine Pendrel (Luna) is well back in the bunch so it appears she did not have a good start.

Through the feedzone and Schneitter has opened a good gap on Lechner - 10+ sec. Koerber still 3rd but another 5 sec.
