Lance Armstrong kicks off the brand new 24h of Cycling in Tremblant Ride 24 hours for fun, for the challenge, for the cause!

The 24h of Cycling of Tremblant joins the Cedar’s Tour de Lance in its fight against cancer. From September 10 to 12, the Mont-Tremblant region welcomes a brand new event: The 24h of Cycling, a gathering with the objective of collecting the maximum of donations for the children’s cause in a festive and friendly atmosphere just like the 24h of Ski. The committed cyclists will ride on the Circuit Mont-Tremblant.

The 24h of Cycling will combine teams of 6 to 12 riders of all levels, for fun, for the challenge, for the cause by relaying each other during 24 hours on the prestigious Circuit Mont-Tremblant. All donations will go to the Cedar’s Cancer Institute and the Tremblant Foundation. In the participative category, the team that raises the most money will get the honours for this first edition and the team with the most completed laps on the 4.6km track will win in the performance category. As for Lance Armstrong, he will go first around the track on September 11th with all the participants to kick off this event, and then will hit the streets of the region in his Tour de Lance for an exclusive 100km.

This weekend of biking in the region of Mont-Tremblant presents an exciting program, a lively transition zone, a unique closed and secure road circuit, bike and industry kiosks, equipment demos, activities for the whole family, concerts and several other surprises.

The objective of this 24h of Cycling is not only the number of laps on the track but mostly the amount raised that will make a difference!
