The Junior BC Cycling team members were thrilled at the pre-National Championship gift from Garmin Transitions - a pair of shorts and socks for every team member. Svein Tuft, 2010 Canadian National Time Trial Champion and Garmin Transitions rider, arranged the gift.

Svein said "It's important to reach back to support young talent and inspire them to be their best. I'm glad our team could play that role."

Provincial coach Richard Wooles responded to the generosity by saying, "Our Junior BC team is inspired to have Svein as a role model. The gift from Garmin Transitions is a very important way  to connect professional team leaders to young athletes who aspire to be professionals one day."

Cycling BC look forward to future opportunities to sustain these type of connections.
