The Paracycling team of Daniel Chalifour and Alexandre Cloutier won bronze in the tandem time trial (BVI) on Friday, at the Para-cycling Road World Championships in Bogogno, Italy.
The sight-impaired Chalifour of Lac-des-bark, Quebec, and captain Alexandre Cloutier of St-Antoine-de-Tilly completed the race with a time of 36:47.07, averaging 48.731 kilometers per hour. They finished 57.33 seconds behind the winning Spanish duo of Christian Venge Balboaet and David Llauradó Caldero.
The Canadian team of Stéphane Côté and Pierre-Olivier Boily finished 23rd, with a time of 39:37.03.
