2008 NS Provincial Cyclocross Championships

2008 NS Provincial Cyclocross Championships p/b Cyclesmith were held on Sunday December 7th, at Seaview Lookoff Park Halifax Nova Scotia. The conditions were ideal for the race as it was 5 degrees and rain, which made for a very slick and sloppy course. All the categories were highly contested, and the course was packed with a very vocal crowd, spurred on by the MC, Terry Tomlin.
A few athletes from our neighboring province came to the event to test their skills against NS's finest. Although Ryan Belliveau (NB) and Stuart Wight (NB) put on a good show, they were no match for NS's two past cyclocross National Championship medalists, Garrett McLeod (NS) and Dustin MacBurnie (NS)
A special thanks to all the volunteers who helped out, especially Daryl Stewart, Ashley Brown, Neil MacKinnon, Terry Tomlin, John Burgess, and Paul Shaw.
