National Team Manager for Cyclocross Worlds Announced

The Canadian Cycling Association is pleased to announce the selection of Dan Proulx as the National Team Manager for the 2009 Cyclo-Cross World Championships in Hoogerheide Netherlands on the 31st of January and the 1st of February 2009.

Dan is a NCCP level 4 cycling coach. Dan was the cycling manager at the 2008 Beijing Olympics he was also the manager for the National team at the 2008 Road and Track Pan Am games. Dan also managed the BC provincial Cyclo-Cross team at the 2008 Canadian National Championships.

If you are interested being a member of the team (and you met the selection criteria) please send a note stating your interest to Nicholas at the CCA. The final selection for the team will take place following the posting of the UCI ranking after the Igorre World Cup on the 9th of December, selected riders will be notified before the 12th of December.

L’association cycliste candienne est heureuse d’annoncer la nomination de M. Dan Proulx comme gérant de l’équipe nationale en vue des championnats du monde de cyclocross 2009 à Hoogerheide, au Pays- Bas, du 31 janvier au 1er février prochain

Dan est un entraîneur qualifié de niveau 4 du PNCE. Il a dirigé l’équipe canadienne à Beijing, ainsi qu’au championnat pan-américain sur route et piste. Dan a également accompagné l’équipe provinciale de Colombie-Britannique au championnat canadien de cyclocross.

Tous les candidats intéressés doivent faire parvenir une demande à Nicholas Vipond. La sélection finale de l’équipe aura lieu après la manche de coupe du monde de Igorre en Espagne, le 9 décembre prochain. Les coureurs seront nominés le 12 décembre au plus tard.
