We now have Final GC standings for the men at the Tour of Willamette. The women's results are not yet available, but we do know that Canadian Lyne Bessette (Saturn) won, and that Linda Jackson (Timex) finished second in the last stage.

The first race in the six event Olympia - Kids of Mud program kicked off this evening (April 20th) at the White Tail Deer Trail in Bird's Hill Park. 45 participants in the age 8-16 range competed in three categories. Registration for the program is on-going through any Olympia Store location. There will be a club ride on Tuesday, April 29th. For more information, call Dave Benson at (204) 269-1967. The first major Sunlight Cup Race of the season will be cosponsored by Olympia Cycle and Ski at the Grand Beach Cross Country Ski trails in Grand Beach Provincial Park on Sunday, May 2nd 1999. Contact MCA or Olympia for details.

This will be one of four designated bonus point races for riders from VeloNB's NB Tel Mobility Mountain Series. Participation in these designated road events will earn riders a one point credit in their mountain bike series standings.
