Mississauga Mid-Week Series
First event of the season. Great turnout 48 riders. The Kid, riding for Kissena showed everyone the way, winning on his own after establishing the vital break on lap 11 with his father and Matthias Schmidt, Exit Realty. They were joined with three laps to go by Greg Cavanagh, Mississauga and Jeff Hansen, now riding for Ital Pasta. Next time round, Peter was out in front and lapping the main bunch. Pat Shea had moved up from the chase group, past the remnants of the break but couldn't bridge. At the line, Mazur Junior cruised in, ten seconds clear of Shea, with Schmidt just beating Cavanagh for third. Mazur Senior was a very creditable 5th. and Domenic Rigato, Saecocame through the chase group to take 6th.
