While Cycling Canada says that it will not make a decision on the Road Nationals until April 20th, events have overtaken them, and it looks to be a certainty that the Road Nationals will not take place in Levis, Quebec, on June 25-28. The Quebec government issued a statement over the long weekend that they are going to stop all cultural and sporting events in the province until August 31st. This would mean that anywhere in Quebec is out as a venue, and it is going to be difficult to find another organizer at short notice - even if they could get permission to hold the event.
