October 9/09 13:30 pm - Forest City Velodrome Improves Payout this Weekend

The Forest City Velodrome is pleased to announce that there will be over $800.00 up for grabs this weekend during the Ontario Omnium Championships.  The 5 event Omnium starts at 1pm on Saturday afternoon with women and men competing for the cash.  The complete race schedule can be found at the FCV website.  The 5 events are, 1,000m TT, 3km TT, flying lap, Points and Scratch Races.

In addition to the Omnium, there will be an open Sprint Tournament with $200.00 on offer for the competitors.

Both events are open to any rider wishing to participate, entry fees are set at $30.00.  The competition is open to Cadets, Juniors, Masters and Elite racers.

The sprint and mass start events begin at 6pm.
